HOW WILL GOD JUDGE YOU?

Many people seem to wonder how God will righteously judge different people of this world. The biblical Word of God tells us how.

THE LORD GOD USES RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT FOR DIFFERENT PEOPLE

The biblical Word of God shows that God will use the Mosaic law, the human conscience and the gospel of Christ in judging people influenced by these spiritual guiding principles:

The Bible tells us all have sinned. However, “For all who have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law…For when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do what the law requires, they are a law to themselves,…their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them on that day when, according to my gospel, God judges the secrets of men by Christ Jesus (Romans 2:14-16).

THE LORD EXERCISES JUDGMENT WITH LOVE

The biblical Word of God says: “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). And “the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (6:23).

However, Some New Agers—especially religious ones– do not agree with what the Bible teaches about sin and judgment. They say “God is love, and“ “he is too loving to condemn anyone. But the Bible tells us: “God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16; Philippians 2:6-11). We can choose to believe the Bible or other teachings about God’s judgment.

GOD IS MERCIFUL AND PATIENT TOWARD UNBELIEVERS

Jesus said despite God’s manifestation of his great love for the world, some “people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil” (John 3:19-21). Yet, “[God] does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent” (2 Peter 3:9). To increase unbelievers chances being saved before the judgment, the Lord encourages his obedient believers to do the following:

First, the Lord God urges believers to pray for “all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. ⁵For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man^[^a^] Christ Jesus, ⁶who gave himself as a ransom for all” (1 Timothy 2:1-6).
Then God tells believers to proclaim the gospel of salvation to the all the world (Mark 16:15-16; Acts 1:8).
Our Loving and righteous God commands us as his believers to love others as he has sacrificially loved us (John 13:34).

God the Father “has given all judgment to the Son” (John 5:22; Matthew 25:31-33). Jesus Christ, who died for the sins of the world, will righteously apply spiritual principles of the Bible in the Lord God’s judgment of all people.
