GOD’S GOSPEL PLAN

How much do you know about God’s gospel-plan? God has a gospel-plan for you, which includes the following:

BELIEVE THE GOSPEL.  “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). According to the biblical word of God, His only begotten Son is Jesus (Matthew 1:18-20).

LIVE THE GOSPEL.  ‘[Mankind] shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). 

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ² He was with God in the beginning… ⁴ In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind… ¹⁴ The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us…the one and only Son, who came from the Father” (John 3:1-14).

Jesus, who was with God the Father in the beginning, said, “Light has come into the world, but [some] people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil…But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God”  (John 3:19-21)

And whoever chooses to live by God’s Holy Word, God gives them the Holy Spirit to enable them to obey Him; and be conformed to the likeness of His Son Jesus Christ (John 14:15-17; Romans 3:29).

PROCLAIM THE GOSPEL  Jesus commands and empowers his faithful followers: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned” (Mark 16:15-16; Acts 1:8). For God wants everyone to repent of their sins and believe in God’s Son for salvation (2 Peter 3:9; Romans 6:23).

RECEIVE GOSPEL REWARDS. The Lord Jesus Christ said, if anyone gives up anything for him and the gospel, you will “receive a hundred times as much in this present age…and in the age to come eternal life (Mark 10:29-31). Then you will  receive a crown of righteousness and live with God forever (2 Timothy 4:8).
