JESUS IS THE ANSWER
The Bible says God created everything through his Son, Jesus Christ (John 1:1-3). And, “The LORD has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all” (Psalm 103:19). However, the Lord says, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33)
JESUS IS THE ANSWER TO PERSONAL PROBLEMS
In this world, personally, we experience many kinds of troubles: sickness, mental stress, spiritual problems, family and relational problems, financial difficulties, moaning the death of loved ones, fear of the future and death, and other things. Many or our problems may be from external sources. But, some may be the results of our poor decisions. However, the Lord is willing and able to help us.
The Bible tells us “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him” (Acts 10:38).
And the Bible lets us know that because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ: “Every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven” (Matthew 12:31). “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). “But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). “The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23). “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” 1 John 1:9).
JESUS IS THE ANSWER TO WORLD PROBLEMS
The Lord Jesus Christ said that in the days before he returns: there will be “people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world” (Luke 21:26). And “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places” (Matthew 24:6-7).
Furthermore, the biblical word of God says: “understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power” (Timothy 3:1).
We are living witnesses of the above troubling things happening; but the Lord ensures people of the following things who believe in him as their Savior:
- Our help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2; John 1:1-3)
- God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
- Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
- He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3 :20).
- “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!” (Isaiah 26:3).
- “Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God” (Isaiah 45:22).
- We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him (Romans 8:9).
