RECREATED FOR GOD
The Bibles says all things were made by and for the Lord God (Colossians 1:16). God created a man and woman to have fellowship with him, in the garden of Eden.. But Adam and Eve broke their fellowship with God when they were tempted by a Satanic serpent, and disobeyed God (Genesis 3). They were separated from God and died, spiritually and physically ( Ephesians 2:1; Hebrews 9:27). Nevertheless, God had a plan to restore mankind to their relationship with God (Gen. 3:15; Matthews 1:21; Revelation 12:9; 13:8).
GOD REVEALED HIS PLAN TO REDEEM AND RECREATE MANKIND.
The scriptures of the Bible are a gradual but comprehensive revelation of God’s plan of redemption for mankind after their separation from God (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Isaiah 59:2; Romans 6:23).
“God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). God gave his only sinless Son, Jesus Christ, to die as an atonement for the sins of mankind (Isaiah 53:5). The Son was “made in human likeness. “And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death(—even death on a cross” (Philippians 2:7-8). And whoever repents and believes in Jesus is born again of the Holy Spirit, and made “alive with Christ,” as children of God (John 3:3-18; Acts 2:38; Colossians 2:13).
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
THE LORD REMADE US TO LIVE WITH GOD FOREVER.
After Jesus Christ was crucified for our sin and rose from the dead, he said he was going away to prepare a place for those who love and obey him (John 14:3, 15). We are told when he returns for those of us who are his followers, we will be given new body to glorify him, and fellowship with him and each other (2 Corinthians 5:1).
In the final book of the Bible, Jesus says, “Behold, I am making all things new” (Revelation 21:5).And our Lord and savior said, “I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back(A) and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am” (John 14:3)
When Jesus Christ returns, those of us whom he has redeemed will be caught up to meet him in the air to live with our Lord God forever (1 Thessalonians 4:17).
