GOD PARDONS REPENTANT PEOPLE
People of the world sometimes find it difficult to forgive or pardon some wrongs. But, the Bible reveals that God the Father is gracious in forgiving and pardoning whoever repent and believe in the atoning blood of his only begotten Son Jesus Christ (Isaiah 53:5-7; John 3:16). God says: “Let the wicked forsake his ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord…for he will freely pardon” (Isaiah 55:7).
THE LORD GOD PARDONED THE SINS OF KING DAVID.

King David was called a man after God’s own heart. The king had many wives; but he lusted for the wife of a man who had only one wife. As king David used his position of power to summon the man’s wife to his bed so he could pleasure himself with her. After David committed adultery with Bathsheba and discovered she was pregnant with his child, he arranged for her husband to be killed. (2 Samuel 12:2-17).
God sent his prophet Nathan to confront King David with the details of his dire sins against God. David, quickly acknowledged his sins and repented. God forgave David and pardoned him for his wicked deeds. God restored David to favor with God (2 Samuel 11:2-17; 12:1-13).
THE LORD PARDONED THE SINS OF A WOMAN CAUGHT IN ADULTERY

When some people were about to stone a woman caught in adultery, Jesus said, “Let him who is without sin among you cast the first stone” (John 8:1-11). The Word of God says: “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). And “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23).
Our Lord advises us to be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.(Ephesians 4:32; John 3:16)
There may be some grave wrongs done against us that we may feel are impossible to forgive. But if we consider what Christ has done in forgiving us all our sins; and if we have a sincere heart’s desire to please the Lord; and we ask him for help to forgive others–the Holy Spirit whom the Lord gives us as our helper will enable us to forgive others as Christ has forgiven us (John 14:26; 1 John 5:14-15).
OUR FATHER IS WILLING TO PARDON OUR SINS.
Although the world may categorize sins as major or minor, God sees all disobedient behavior and unrighteous thoughts as sin. The person who violates any part of God’s law is consider by God to be guilty of violating the whole law (James 2:10). All have violated God’s law and is worthy of eternal death and separation from God (Romans 3:23; Rom. 6:23). But God demonstrated his great for love for us in sacrificing his only begotten Son to die to atone for the sin our sins (1 Peter 3:18; John 3:16).
GOD WELCOMES PEOPLE WHOM HE HAS PARDONED TO HEAVEN.

The Word of God says, because of the sacrifice of God’s only begotten Son Jesus Christ, when we repent and believe in Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord, God is faithful and just to pardon all our unrighteousness (John 3:16; 1 John 1:9). ). And he asks us to love and forgive others as has loved and forgave us (John 13:34).
Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him” (Hebrews 9:28; John 14:2-3)
