LET JESUS INCREASE IN YOU
John, whom God used to baptize Jesus Christ, said, “He must increase, but I must decrease” (John 3:30). How you let Christ increase in you?
LET JESUS CHRIST COME IN
Jesus said, I stand at the door of you heart and knock, and if anyone open the door I will come in and fellowship with them (Revelation 3:20). If you have not already let Jesus in , you need to let him in to be save from your sins and eternal separation from God (Romans 3:23; 6:26; John 3:16-18). When anyone repent of their sins and believe in the atoning death of Jesus
Christ, they are born again of the Holy Spirit whom the Lord gives to repentant believers (John 3:16; Acts 2:38).
OBEY THE LORD’S WORD AND SPIRIT
The Lord said, my words are “full of the Spirit and life” (John6:63). The Holy Spirit lives in those who obey the Lord (Romans 8:9). And the Spirit guides and empowers the Lord’s people to live by his words; and to be his living witnesses (John 16:13-15; Acts 2:38).
BE CONFORMED TO THE LIKENESS OF JESUS CHRIST
It is God’s plan to conform those who love and obey him into the image of his only begotten Son (Romans 8:29).
- Jesus said we should live by every word of God (Matthew 4:4).
- He always did what pleased his Father (John 8:29).
- Even when he was face with death on a cross to please the Father in dying for the sins of mankind, Jesus said to the Father, “Not my will, but your will be done” (Luke 22:42).
- Our Lord and Savior said, “If any of you wants to be my followers, you must give up your own way, take up your cross and follow me” (Matthew 16:24NLT).
