Jesus Lifted Up on the Cross
Jesus said, “When I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself” (John 12:32NIV).
- When Jesus was lifted up on the cross and dying, he assured a dying sinner who believed in him, “today you will be with me in paradise” (Luke 13:32-43).
- He was lifted up on the cross and pierced because of our transgressions, crushed because of our iniquities; punishment of our peace was on Him, and we are healed by his wounds (Isaiah 53:5HCSB).
- The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life by cross of Jesus Christ our Lord Romans 6:23.
